Colouring Competition

Coloring is a fantastic way for children to start to develop planning skills. They have to process many steps when they are completing a coloring page, from what colors to use, in what order and what decoration to add to their color fills. All of this requires a basic plan and this will help them throughout the rest of their journey through learning.

There are six groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 3yrs to 5yrs    – (Nursery, Kindergarten)

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

The papers for this competition are enclosed for all the 6 groups. Students can use regular pencils, colored pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal, crayons, sketch pens, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylic colors and oil colors.

The teacher has to collect the fees as per the fee structure of your country.

Handwriting Competition

Handwritten communication being the most primitive media of expressing oneself has been proved to be an effective process of learning a language in terms of correct spellings, massive vocabulary, and exquisite communication abilities, both through written and verbal forms.

There are six groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 3yrs to 5yrs    – (Nursery, Kindergarten)

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Students can write in any Para/ poem/ story from their book on the subsequent blank space provided on the page. The minimum words required are 80-100.

Collage Competition

Collage making explore the students’ creativity and imagination along with improving their presentation skills. Collecting and using materials of different textures, colors and patterns may help children to become the kind of adults who respond sensitively to their surroundings.

There are two groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 6yrs to 11yrs   – Grade 1st to 6th

  • Secondary

    : Age 12yrs to 17yrs – Grade 7th to 12th

Pictures for collage competition for all the groups are enclosed. Students can use craft paper, magazine paper and any decorative material.

The teacher has to collect the fees as per the fee structure of your country.

Cartoon Making Competition

Cartoon is an art that comes in many shapes and sizes from comic strips to editorial cartoons and political satire. This Cartoon making competition provides visual, colorful and simple ways to communicate about certain issues and events. This competition encourages students to think about new idea and demonstrate these ideas in the form of art.

There are five groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Participants are free to choose any cartoon characters as per their choice. Students have to draw on the subsequent blank space provided on the page.

Greeting Card Competition

A greeting card expresses all the human emotions, joy, gratitude, sympathy, humor, love and admiration. It allows us to connect on an emotional level with the people who have touched our lives.

There are five groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Students can use any type of creative A4 size paper to make a greeting card. Any type of creative paper, craft paper and decorative material can be used by the participant.

Tattoo Making Competition

Tattoo competition influences society by changing opinions, inculcating values, and translating experiences from space and time. In this sense tattoo means communication; it allows people from different cultures and different times to interact with each other through images. Tattoos are often a vehicle for social change.

There are four groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Finger And Thumb Painting Competition

Finger painting is a great way for children to explore, learn and develop through sensory play. When children can feel the cool, silky texture of the paint and experiment with color and patterns, it encourages their creativity. It’s also a good way for children to express emotions

There are six groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 3yrs to 5yrs    – (Nursery, Kindergarten)

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Students should use watercolors on the blank page provided for thumb painting. Press your index finger coated in paint firmly on the sheet of paper to create a colorful fingerprint.

Sketching Competition

Sketching enables you to start the best ideas. It’s a powerful process since it always helps you in discovering new ideas and solutions to your designs. When you start sketching your ideas and imagination, you open a way to put your creativity to action and in turn enhancing your skills.

There are four groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Subject for the sketching competition is enclosed. Students are free to use any colours and type of pen, pencil to sketching and shading.

Competition For Caricature

There are six groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 3yrs to 5yrs    – (Nursery, Kindergarten)

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Students should draw and colour the caricature on the blank page provided for caricature purpose. Participant student is free to choose any caricature characters as per their choice.

Competition For Mask Making

There are six groups for this competition as given below:

  • Primary

    : Age 3yrs to 5yrs    – (Nursery, Kindergarten)

  • Primary I

    : Age 6yrs to 7yrs    – Grade 1st & 2nd

  • Primary II

    : Age 8yrs to 9yrs    – Grade 3rd & 4th

  • Secondary I

    : Age10yrs to 12yrs   – Grade 5th to 7th

  • Secondary II

    : Age13yrs to 15yrs   – Grade 8th to 10th

  • Hr. Secondary

    : Age16yrs to 17yrs   – Grade 11th to 12th

Students may use craft paper, cardboard paper, colours, feathers or colorful cloth, handmade paper or other decorative items. Participant student is free to choose any mask as per their choice. Students are required to put their name and grade on backside of paper.

How to conduct international competition at your school?

The details are to be announced to the students once the invitation is received by the art teacher or coordinator.

One student can participate in one or five competitions as per his/her choice and preference by paying the respective fees per competition.

The teacher has to collect the fees as per the fee structure of your country.

The photocopy of the respective competition is to be provided to the student and competition has to be held in your school premises.

75% of the amount collected is to be paid online through payment gateway by visiting our website or remittance through SWIFT.

15% of the total collected fees are to be utilized by the school for the purpose of providing photocopy and sending papers via post or courier.

10% of the collected fees are to be kept by the art teacher/ coordinator as a gift from Rangotsav Celebration for their valuable efforts taken for conducting the competition.

The entry form and all the Art works have to be couriered to the office of Rangotsav Celebration in India.

How to conduct international competition for Indian students.

  • Only selected children out of the winners of the national competition will be eligible for the international competition.
  • The names of the children selected for the international competition will be communicated to the teachers by letter and mail.
  • Congratulatory letters will also be given to the parents of the children selected for the International Competition which will be delivered to them by the schools.
  • The teacher has to collect Rs. 1500 as fees for international competition from every eligible student. The teacher is expected to coach, guide and inspire students for competition through practice sessions.
  • 10% of the collected fees are to be kept by the art teacher/ coordinator as a gift from Rangotsav Celebration for their valuable efforts taken for conducting the competition.
  • The children will be given a hall ticket and the venue and the date of the competition will be announced by the Rangotsav Celebration.

Rules and Regulations

  • Rangotsav Celebration is open to all artists from the age of 3 years to 20 years of age i.e. from Kindergarten students to Higher Secondary School Students. Your artwork must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material.
  • Entry form with duly filled details is mandatory.
  • Payment is to be made online through payment gateway by visiting our website or remittance through SWIFT.
  • If printed participation certificates are required for the participants, it is compulsory to visit our website and upload the Excel file with details of the students, in the option “upload certificate”.
  • Mementos/ Certificates/ Prizes will be sent directly at the school address mentioned on the entry form within three months.
  • The parcel is to be sent with all the competition papers along with participation list, proof of payment and entry form, to the office of Rangotsav Celebration in India.
