LET’S GO MAKE STUFF.

Rangotsav Celebration was started in India since 2012 and with due support from all over the nation, Rangotsav Celebration is now conducting the competition globally for emphasizing on spreading the importance of art and creativity in the minds of schools as well as students. I would like to thank each principal for granting permission to conduct the competition and similarly every Art teacher for motivating students to participate. I am thankful to you for supporting Rangotsav Celebration for the past ten years as it would not have been possible without your valuable support. Since, art reduces the stress and refreshes the mind we look forward to encourage them to follow their passion and focus on boosting the self-confidence of the student while being felicitated on the stage. Every year we provide an opportunity to many child artists from various schools to show their creativity and uniqueness in their artworks.

I cordially invite your school kids to participate in Rangotsav Celebration in all the competitions which are getting more and more modernized. We have an objective of providing a stimulating environment to bring out artistic and creative potential of the students. Thus, we look forward for such happiness of students by way of your participation and make the event a grand success.

Aim

Art is an important educational tool used by teachers all over the world for a child’s development. Painting also helps children to use their senses, express emotion, explore color and create aesthetic and pleasing art work.

As it is a path for children to express them in their own special way, Rangotsav Celebration provides a global platform that encourages and empowers youth around the world. Every child was being stretched to achieve something new, something exciting, something that was outside their comfort zone

How Do Rangotsav Competitions Help Students

Rangotsav Celebration tries to devolve through Art. When surveyed by the nonprofit organization Americans for the Arts, members of the U.S. public overwhelmingly agreed that the arts are one aspect of a well-rounded K-12 education. Yet, participation in the visual and performing arts is often treated as merely supplemental to other aspects of learning. As a result, there are major differences in access to art competition across the country.
2021 findings from the National Assessment of Educational Progress showed that eighth graders in the Northeast were much more likely to report being enrolled in a visual arts course than those in the South. Disparities were also tied to race, ethnicity, family income, and whether a school is located in a city, suburb, town, or rural area.
In fact, researchers from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, argue that instruction becomes more effective when educators integrate creative activities and make them central to academic development. Across disciplines, including STEM, there’s room to reimagine classes with a strong emphasis on drawing competition, painting, playing music, performing drama, and other creative pursuits. Encouraging students to use their imagination can help them actively engage with new concepts and discover connections between ideas as well as provide advantages for their social and emotional well-being.
One example of effectively integrating creative expression with other fields as a pedagogical strategy can be seen in the collaboration between University of Florida faculty members Susan K. Jacobson, who studies wildlife ecology and conservation, and Robert C. Mueller, who teaches printmaking As this example shows, students benefit from learning to embrace insights from multiple disciplines, and this can be valuable when they go on to pursue jobs.
It was not long ago that arts education in schools was thought to be a luxury, and arts classes were cut from the curriculum to make room for more time to prepare for standardized tests. Currently, there is more and more information available that shows how crucial arts integration is to creating well-rounded, well-prepared learners and leaders. Articles with titles such as “Teachers are using theater and dance to teach math — and it’s working,” and “Arts-Based Education Will Power the Creative Economy” discuss the theory and research behind such claims.
At Rangotsav Celebration (Organization of art competition) have always been an integrated part of our curriculum. We weave the arts into our core classroom curricula as well as teach specific artistic skills and abilities.
Here is what we’ve learned through experience about why arts integration is so important:
Working in the arts helps learners to develop creative problem-solving skills.
Teaching through the arts can present difficult concepts visually, making them more easy to understand.
Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness.
Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work.
Integrating art with other disciplines reaches students who might not otherwise be engaged in classwork.
Arts experiences boost critical thinking, teaching students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world.
The arts provide challenges for learners at all levels.
Art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world.
A report by Americans for the Arts states that young people who participate regularly in the arts (three hours a day on three days each week through one full year) are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair, or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate.
A study of Missouri public schools in 2010 found that greater arts education led to fewer disciplinary infractions and higher attendance, graduation rates, and test scores. Rangotsav Celebration plans to implement above recommendations.
